There is no shortage of amazing trails to hike and bike in the area, with terrain ranging from relaxed to aggressive. A few of the most popular are Fishcreek Falls Trail, Uranium Mine Trail, Gilpin Lake, and Rabbit Ears Peak. Check out All Trails to find the best path for you.

Yampa River boasts world renowned fly fishing. Call Steamboat Fly Fisher for their guide services.

Soak in the Springs
The Strawberry Park Hot Springs are a short 30 minute ride from the base, and pool reservations can be made via the website 30 days in advance for $20 per person. The road to the springs is a bit rugged and Uber is not allowed, so plan to take shuttle or rental car.
